No, but we cannot repair bindings that are no longer being manufactured.
If you have a first gen Outlaw or Lynx in question, they have served their purpose and it is probably time for new bindings.
-
We can let you know the cost of the parts needing replacement is, but we have no way of confirming everything that might need to be replaced until the bindings have made it to the shop.
Also, keep in mind that in some cases the cost of repairing the bindings can outweigh purchasing a new pair of bindings. If your bindings are severely damaged, it may be best to retire them.
If you are unsure, a good place to start is by sending clear and detailed photos/videos to info@twentytwodesigns.com where we can advise if they are worth sending in for repair.
-
If for any reason, your bindings cannot be repaired, we will notify you.
If you want to send your retired bindings to us, we will recycle them properly or add them to our binding windchime.
-
We do not. However, if you shop around you will find that our prices are very reasonable.
If you are an active ski patroller/military/USFS/EMS/Fire you can apply for a pro deal here.
-
We give your bindings the attention they need. We will repair/replace any components that need it. It is hard to give an accurate quote on the cost of the repair until we have them here in the shop. If you only want a specific area of the binding to be addressed, please clarify in the repair form and leave a note in the package.
-
Storage and maintenance is key to prolonging the lifespan of your bindings. Don't leave them on the roof of your car all winter and be sure to dry and inspect them before putting them away for the season; preferably in a warm and dry place.
Aside from storage lubricating the spring tube and ensuring that your springs are in good shape are 2 of the easiest and most important ways to maintain your bindings.
If you are unsure, you can reach out to info@twentytwodesigns.com and we will let you know if anything should be replaced.
