Where are you from, when did you begin skiing and telemarking, and where do you ski most now?
I am from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I began skiing when I was 2 or 3 and I started tele skiing when I first fit into the smallest pair of Orange Garmont one-buckle boots which must have been around 8 years old. I always wanted to tele because I was the only one in my family who did not. Currently, I mostly ski at Bridger Bowl.
What do you love about telemarking?
I love how surfy the turn feels and how easy it is to navigate the mountain. I think tele skiing allows any terrain to be fun and challenging.
What do you like about our bindings?
My favorite thing about 22 Designs' Outlaw X is how much control you have over the ski and how your foot stays on the ski when you are in the air. This makes jumping and doing tricks significantly easier than bindings I have previously skied on.
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not skiing?
When I am not skiing I like to camp, skateboard, and explore with my friends. I am thankful to live in a beautiful place and experience it with many amazing people.
List your accomplishments, competition results, awards, other sponsors, etc.
- I film with a crew of my friends in Bozeman and we call ourselves Entourage.
- We released our third full-length film called "From us to you" in Fall of '22.
- In addition to 22 Designs, I ski on Sego Ski Co skis.
- This season I am thrilled to join forces with more tele skiers and work on a project for TELECOLO.
