Where are you from, when did you begin skiing and telemarking, where do you ski most now?

I am from the heartland, Dubuque, Iowa.  I moved to Colorado ten years ago and have been in Silver Plume, Colorado skiing and working at Loveland ski area.  I have been telemarking for eight years now.

What are your favorite boots and skis?

I am a big fan of the Scarpa boots they fit my feet and have many styles that fix what i am doing that day.  I ride the Scarpa T-race mostly.  I ride for Rossignol skis, and I would still if I had to buy them since their skis are so versatile.  From carving to the deepest pow the Super 7 is the ski

What do you like about our bindings?

I like the power band, I feel the energy from the binding get pushed into the ski.  I compete and like to ski fast, so having this power exchange is crucial to speed up and slow down, solely relying on the binding to hold me on the ski.  Last year was my first year using the Axl's tour mode, what an awesome feature!  As an owner of a ski repair shop, I also like the six hole pattern.

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not skiing?

I ski full time six months of the year, so when I am out doing other things its usually being out in nature, stand up paddle boarding or landscaping.
