Paul Karchut
Paul has been skiing for us since 2005. His love of billygoating and
backcountry air constantly tests his gear. And after breaking nine pair
of competitors' bindings in 2004 alone, Paul has never broken a single
Hammerhead in three years. From Japan to South America to New Zealand
and North America, Paul has been spreading the 22-Designs stoke all
over the world. He now lives in Calgary as a ski and outdoor columnist
for CBC radio and between physio treatments, gets into the mountains
with every opportunity.

What do you like about HammerHeads?
They're tough. They're stiff. But they tour really well because of
the on-the-fly adjustable tensions. They're versatile. Take them powder
skiing. Take them billygoating. Take them in the park. Take them on
corduroy. I love them wherever I go!
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not skiing?
Trail running, mountain biking, canoeing, hanging-out with my dog,
cooking.
