Paige Brady
Paige
is skier from up in the land of big snowfall and bigger mountains. She
won the World Tele Free-Skiing comp in Alyeska last spring, and she'll
be living in Jackson this winter. Watch out boys, she's better than
you.
Where are you from, when did you begin skiing and telemarking, where
do you ski most now?
I am from Anchorage, Alaska and started skiing at the age of 4 in Cordova.
I was a competitive Nordic Skier for 16 years, but didn’t start
telemark skiing until I went off to college at the University of Nevada,
Reno. It was there I began to shift my focus. Now, I am just trying
to ski as much as possible and continuing to push myself.
What
are your favorite boots and skis?
Scarpa T-Race and Moment Pika
What do you like about our bindings?
I like the stiffness and rigid feel the HammerHead binding gives. It
provides the power and control I need when I’m trying to push
my limits. I also love having a reliable binding I can trust won't break
and will last forever.
What do you like to do for fun when you're not skiing?
- Mountain bike, run, yoga, climb, web design, knitting and playing
in the mountains!
