Where are you from, when did you begin skiing and telemarking, where do you ski most now?I am from Lom in Norway. I started skiing alpine when I was 5 years old. Got my first telemark skis when I was 11 years old. When I was15 I got my first twintip skis, Armada AR5 with alpine bindings. The next season I mounted HammerHeads on the skis, and have been skiing telemark since. This is my third season on HammerHeads. I mostly ski in Oppdal, Norway because I've got a kind of skiing gymnasium here. What are your favorite boots and skis?
What do you like about HammerHeads?The stability, the durability and the possibility for adjustments by using the pivots. Ove is a young skier from Norway- the birthplace of Telemark. This kid is as comfortable in the air as he is on snow. A 900, how many revolutions is that??
My favorite boots are Scarpa T-1, and skis are Dynastar Pro Rider XXL and Dynastar Big Trouble.
There is a kind of racing here in Norway we call “fjelltelemark” in english it would be mountaintelemark. You have a mountain, a very open speedy course with few gates and no prepping. Only the natural snow conditions. So you need guts to not brake and get the best time down. The last two seasons I have competed in 5 of these races and won every one in the junior class.
